COURSE OVERVIEW This 2–day (16 classroom hour) seminar takes a detailed and operational view of the Project Procurement and Contract Management processes. Participants will be introduced to procurement, solicitation and contract processes outlined in the Project Management Body of Knowledge. (PMBOK) A systematic approach will aid participants in developing an in-depth understanding of ethical buyer-seller relationships, direct and indirect costs, preparations of specifications and bids and the multiple complexities of contract administration and closeout.

- Developing a Procurement and Contracting Plan- Create a customized overview plan of the participants process, utilizing statements of work, procurement documents, bidding procedures and state of the art practices to maximize contracting and procurement results.

NOTES :
- This is an “in – house ”, training seminar, with Client to provide classroom, LCD Projector, Overhead Projector, Whiteboard with pens and break refreshments for the participants. Facilitator/Mentor will supply books, handouts, computer and relevant PowerPoint Presentation.
